Q: How can I join?
A: Lunenburg Aikikai is always open to new participants! There are several ways you can participate in our dojo:

Adults: (15 & up)
Beginners can join the introductory program we host twice a year (in the Fall and Winter) every year. The program involves 3 months of instruction and an aikido gi for one entry-level fee. Check out the home page for links to information on the when the next program starts. See Lunenburg Aikikai beginner classes information sheet as well as the USAF Student Handbook (both below) for more information about Aikido in general.

Beginners and experienced aikido practitioners can also join throughout the year. Please have a conversation with Sensei Constable first, and come and watch a few sessions before committing to this.

Practicing members of other dojos can join our events. Find more information here.

Q: I am interested in Aikido but would like to watch a class before joining. Is this possible?
